About the Festival

Hello and a very warm welcome to the biennial Findhorn Bay Festival: a spectacular six-day celebration of arts, culture and celebration, featuring outstanding artists from across Scotland and beyond.

Following the great successes of the Findhorn Bay Festival in 2014 and 2016, we are back for a third year with another fabulous programme of events showcasing local, national and international artists. Get ready for a vibrant mix of theatre, music, dance and visual art as well as free events including the popular annual community event Culture Day Forres, a cultural extravaganza for all the family to enjoy.

In Scotland’s Year of Young People 2018, the Festival will create a new and unique piece of theatre based on the Scottish literary work The Buke of the Howlat which will be developed with Moray’s young people and premier as part of the Festival.

Presented by Findhorn Bay Arts, the biennial festival brings quality arts and culture to the area and helps creative people from across Moray thrive and develop. Findhorn Bay Arts is delighted and proud to have played a leading role in Forres winning a Creative Place Award from Creative Scotland in 2015; both an award and accolade that recognises and celebrates local talent and creative collaborations between artists, businesses and organisations within the community.

So please come along and be part of the fantastic arts and culture explosion happening in our beautiful corner of Scotland.
