Want to take part in Findhorn Bay Festival 2026? Then become a Festival Volunteer!

The 6th Findhorn Bay Festival will run from Thursday 24 September to Sunday 4 October 2026, and we are looking to build a team of volunteers to help support and steward events.

You’ll be right at the heart of the action — helping to bring the festival to life. It’s a chance to be part of a vibrant, creative team, support live events from behind the scenes, and experience the festival from a unique perspective while welcoming audiences and artists alike.

As a festival volunteer you will get to see some shows for free, meet new people, gain experience and skills.

Stewards & Front of House Volunteer

We are currently looking for Stewards & Front of House Volunteers. 

As a Stewards & Front of House Volunteer, you’ll help ensure each venue is welcoming, well-prepared and ready for audiences. This may include supporting the Event Manager with last-minute setup tasks such as arranging or putting away seating, checking facilities, and making sure the space is ready to open.

You’ll also be a friendly point of contact for visitors — welcoming audiences as they arrive, taking tickets, assisting at the Box Office, directing people to seats, providing information, and helping ensure everyone feels supported throughout their visit. You may also assist with evacuation procedures if required.

Time Commitment

There are events running throughout each day of the festival. We ask volunteers to support a minimum of three events during the festival to help ensure consistency across the programme.Volunteer event assistants will usually be on duty one hour before the performance starts to help with final preparations, and remain for up to 30 minutes after the audience has left to assist with clearing down.
