Ticket Prices
We aim to keep prices as low as possible, while ensuring the festival can continue to support artists, venues and future events. Alongside ticketed events, there are also many free activities to enjoy.
Most of our general ticketed events have 3 pricing tiers, available for you to choose the level of support appropriate to you.
No hidden booking fees. The prices we display are the price you pay.
Supporter
If you’re able to pay a little more, this option helps support the festival and keeps tickets affordable for others.
Standard
Our regular ticket price, reflecting the true cost of presenting the event.
Reduced
A lower price for those who may find the standard ticket cost a barrier.
How to Book
Many of our events take place in smaller venues with limited capacity and require tickets to attend, while others are free and open to everyone.
Where tickets are required, we strongly recommend booking in advance, as events can sell out quickly.
Book Online
Tickets can be booked online via our What’s On guide – simply select an event and follow the booking link.
If you’re unable to book online, you can contact us or visit our office during opening hours and we’ll be happy to help you book in person.
Each event listing will clearly show when availabilty it limited:
- Sold out – no tickets available in advance or on the door
- Limited availability – only a small number of tickets remain
Online booking closes 3 hours before each event.
On the Door
For events that are not sold out in advance, a limited number of tickets may be available on the door. However, availability cannot be guaranteed.
Families & Young People
Findhorn Bay Festival welcomes families, children and young people to a huge range of events and activities. We offer a number of ways to make attending more affordable.
- Family tickets are available for selected events, offering better value for family groups attending together.
- Reduced price tickets for children and young people are available for many of our performances.
- Many events across the programme are free and open to all ages
Details of available ticket types will be clearly shown on each event listing.
Please note that some events may have age restrictions, which will be clearly stated in the programme and on the event web listing. Under 16s must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
Essential Companion / Personal Assistant Tickets
We offer complimentary tickets for those who require additional support in order to be able to attend an event. You may add an essential companion ticket at time of booking if your support needs go beyond what would normally be expected from friends or family attending with you.
Your companion must be aged 16 or over and able to provide assistance throughout your visit, including in the event of an evacuation. We may ask for proof of eligibility when booking an essential companion ticket. This may include:
- DLA, PIP or Adult Disability Payment documentation
- Evidence of being registered as severely sight impaired
- CredAbility Access Card (with +1 symbol)
- Attendance Allowance documentation
- Assistance Dog ID
- A valid Blue Badge
Attending An Event
Findhorn Bay Festival is a fun, open and friendly event. For those who have never attended before, we hope you will feel welcome and able to enjoy everything that the festival and area has to offer. Here is some useful information which may help you to make the most of your visit and plan your festival attendance.
Door Times
Doors for all events will open 30 minutes before the advertised event start time unless otherwise specified.
Seating Allocation
Most of our events have unreserved seating and therefore seating will be allocated on a first-come-first-serve basis. If you have specific seating or access requirements, we advise you to arrive in good time and make yourself known to a member of our festival team who can assist you with seating arrangements.
Standing Events
Some of our events are standing-only, or have limited seating available. We will call this out clearly in our events listings. If you have access requirements and need additional seating or support for this type of event, please contact our team.
Event Photography & Filming
In order to capture the festival atmosphere and share the events with others, we will have photography, audio and video recording at many of our festival events. Footage and images captured will be used for promotional purposes and may appear in print, newspapers, on our websites and on social media.
If you do not wish to appear in any photos or film, please inform a member of our front-of-house staff before the event so they can let our photographers and videographers know.
Refreshments and Catering
Many of our events offer bar service. The Findhorn Bay Arts team will be offering bar service at many events held at James Milne Institute and Forres Town Hall. These bars will be run by volunteers and all profits will go to supporting our creative programme.
Bars services will also be available at some of our partner venues, such as Universal Hall and the Mosset Tavern. We will aim to indicate bar service in event listings where possible.
Some of our events will be run as BOYB and you are welcome to bring your own drinks along – provided you are respectful and other audience members. We will also have tea, coffee and other refreshments at some events – keep an eye on our listings for details.
Raffles & Donations
Findhorn Bay Festival is run as a non-profit event and all the money goes back into delivering our cultural programme. Some events will host raffles for audience members. We will also be collecting donations at many of our free events for those who are able to support the festival and our artists.
Don’t forget to bring along some cash if you want to offer donations or try and win some exciting raffle prizes!
