Getting Around

The festival takes place across a range of towns and villages, all within easy reach of each other. Whether you’re travelling by car, bike or public transport, there are plenty of ways to explore the area and move between venues.

A classic vintage bus drives down a tranquil country road, flanked by trees and fields under a clear blue sky.

By Bike

With beautiful scenery and a network of local cycle routes, travelling by bike is a great way to get around during the festival.

Cycling between festival venues is very accessible, with routes such as Forres to Findhorn covering around 8 km on mostly quiet rural roads with some gentle changes in elevation, while other nearby journeys are shorter and flatter, helping you plan your ride based on distance, terrain, and road type.

Forres → Findhorn (approx. 8 km / 5 miles)

  • Elevation: Mostly flat overall with a very gentle descent towards Findhorn, followed by small undulations near the village and dunes.
  • Road type: A mix of quiet B-roads and local rural roads (primarily the B9011 corridor and connecting roads), with short sections that may include busier junctions near Forres.
  • What to expect: A scenic and generally easy coastal ride, suitable for most cyclists. Exposure to wind is common along the final approach to Findhorn.

Bike hire is available locally from Bike Revolution.

By Public TRansport
