Co-directed by Ruby Worth and John Batty
all I have to do is dream…is a groundbreaking piece of visual theatre, performed by a cast of 50 adults with additional support needs and their support workers. It follows a cleaner who after a long shift falls asleep on an empty stage. The subsequent dreamscapes take a ride through a vivid collage of movement and image, taking in the music of Bach, Sigur Rós and Tatsuhiko Asano.
Diving deep into a collective pool of aspiration, fragmentation and wonder, the integrated performance group invite us in to dream a little dream, take a giant leap and walk a collective tightrope of adventure. In turns mysterious, surreal and serene, this production offers it’s audiences opportunities to marvel, to delight and to be moved by a company of people who know, that no matter what, the show will go on.
The Integrated Performance Group was founded in 2007 at Eden Court Theatre. Beginning with 12 members the group has steadily grown in numbers and in reputation.
This show is presented in partnership with Eden Court Theatre, Findhorn Bay Arts and Universal Hall Arts Centre, with support from Nansen Highland, Leonard Cheshire Disability and Northern Meeting.
Online booking closes at midnight before the show.
