Come on all you twisters and funksters, all you jivers and groovers, get on your (40s to 60s) glad rags and dance, dance, dance the night away. We’ll have some fabulous vintage sounds to match your fabulous vintage clothes. Those maestros of spellbinding vocal harmonies the Bevvy Sisters will be teaming up with the Bad Boys from the Loveboat Big Band and members of Orkestra del Sol, for a Festival Big Band special to get you partying like it’s never even been 1999.
Adding to the burlesque mash-up will be showgirls, swing dancers, acrobats and a whole fancy dress box load of sequins and feathers. The carnivalesque highpoint of the evening will (quite literally) be provided by the extraordinary acrobatic feats of the ‘Culinary Handstand Tower’ – the spectacularly disgruntled café goer who ascends a tower of soups, bowls, champagne and glasses without so much as a burnt crisp for safety.
Alongside our Speyside Craft Brewery Bar will be the Gordon Castle bar so you can sample the award-winning gin, created using botanicals from the Castle’s very own Walled Garden.
