Through the Combine to Create Small Halls Artist in Residency, artists and creative practitioners have been working with and engaging rural communities through their village hall through a summer long residency.
At the heart of this programme is conversation, artist-led conversation with residents living / working in the community. The artists are exploring the ideas, issues, ecologies or stories that matter to the people living in the communities, and its unique heritage and culture.
Residencies will culminate with a celebration event as part of the festival, including live music, food, art and more.
