Dopey Monkey is a collaboration between composers, musicians and former members of the Moray Concert Brass Band, Martin Lee Thomson (Euphonium) and Danielle Price (Tuba). Their music ventures beyond the traditional boundaries associated with their instruments and since their formation in 2015, the duo has explored a range of mixed media creations and present bespoke performances that highlight the inquisitive dynamic of the duo’s partnership.
Taking inspiration from historical text, photography, archived sounds and songs, they will share an eclectic mix of Scottish traditional, re-imagined and new tunes for this concert. A chance to hear them on their home turf, join them for an unmissable afternoon exploring traditional music.
