Beach of Dreams

A Silk Pennant Installation

Naturally dyed silk pennants carrying personal stories form a shifting tapestry on Findhorn Beach, exploring our relationship with the coast.

Exhibitions

Building on our Beach of Dreams project in 2025, Beach of Dreams Silks is a dynamic installation created by artists Eve Mosher and Amy Neville in collaboration with local communities. Made from naturally dyed silk pennants, each piece carries a personal story – reflecting individual relationships with the coast, the sea and the changing world around us. Together, these pennants form a shifting tapestry of voices. A shared expression of hope, memory and imagination – woven into a collective vision for our future coastlines.

This is more than an artwork. It is a living archive of connection: between people and place, between past and future, between land and sea. Beach of Dreams is created by Kinetika: a platform for activating and exploring the unique heritage, cultures and climate futures of our coastlines through bold, participatory art.
