Musician-in-Residence, Hamish Napier and Curator and Storyteller Aila Schafer bring their celebrated Storylands Sessions to the festival. Supported by Creative Scotland and inspired by this year’s festival theme, Connection, Highland and Moray-based singers, fiddlers, poets and storytellers are invited to share their talents.
Inspired by 1950s variety concerts and modern open mic nights, Storylands Sessions is carefully curated in advance, creating a relaxed and supportive atmosphere where performers and audiences can connect and enjoy an evening of entertainment. Whether you have a song, tune, poem or story to share, or if you’re willing to give it a go, we would love to hear from you too. Each performer gets five minutes maximum, including introductions, or the legendary shepherd’s crook may make an appearance!
