Culture Day Forres is back!

Culture Day Forres 2026 returns by popular demand and will take place on Saturday 26 September, 11am to 4pm in the town centre of Forres as part of Findhorn Bay Festival 2026.

What is Culture Day Forres? 

Culture Day is a fun, free, family day out, jam-packed with exciting exhibitions and performances and lots of have -a-go activities. Culture Day provides artists, creative community groups, creative businesses and arts, heritage and cultural organisations an opportunity to showcase their talents and the vibrancy of what happens locally all year round.

How to Participate

Events and activities are happening in town centre venues, shops, cafes, parks and civic spaces throughout the day or running at regular intervals. There are lots of ways to get involved, from joining our community choir hubs or open mic stage to showcasing your business through creative activities.

Culture Day is all about engaging with the public, to try to encourage people to take more interest and awareness of the arts in and around Forres, and engaging with lots of different people in lots of different activities.
