If you were enchanted by The Fantastic Life of Minnie Rubinski at the 2024 festival, prepare to be captivated once again as Vision Mechanics presents The Circus of Dreams – an intimate and magical experience. Part performance, part installation, this extraordinary travelling theatre is housed within the beautifully handcrafted Solar Stage, inviting audiences beneath the canvas of a miniature big top and into a world where imagination knows no bounds.
At the heart of the story is Winston Khan, a young tiger searching for where he truly belongs. Guided by a mysterious map of destiny, he journeys through strange and wondrous worlds filled with unforgettable characters, impossible landscapes and magical encounters. Along the way, flying pandas swing from the trapeze, juggling sheep ride unicycles and whistling fish spark delight and wonder. Blending marionettes, music, shadow animation and storytelling, The Circus of Dreams is a feast for the senses.
