Magnetic North returns to the festival with a poignant and uplifting celebration of the power of sad music.
Bea is reeling from the shock of her husband’s infidelity – lost, heartbroken and alone. If only she knew that her neighbours, Sonia, Van and Ian are each quietly struggling with the pain in their own hearts and unable to find the words to express how they feel. Maybe the mysterious Lou will hold the key to their healing?
Performed by an ensemble of five actor-musicians, this evocative production weaves together words, music and movement to explore the complex landscape of melancholy and is an intimate and uplifting journey from darkness to light.
