Window Wanderland

Sign up for Window Wanderland Forres – magical window artwork displays to light up Forres during the festival!

Following on from a successful Window Wanderland in 2021, the town centre of Forres will once again be awash with light, colour and creativity.

Everyone can take part by transforming your house, business, school, and street into a magical outdoor gallery. Households, community groups, families, businesses and schools are invited to create their very own window-based artworks inspired by our festival themes of nature and the natural worldconnection and belonging.

You don’t need to be artistic to take part. It can be simple or spectacular… anything goes… as long as it’s family-friendly. You might consider what belonging means to you; whether it’s being part of a group, family, or the place you feel a connection with e.g. being part of your local community in a meaningful way or the nature that inspires you. It could be a plant or garden, the Moray coast or the nature around you.

You can use the windows of your flat, house, business, school, nursery, car, camper van, shop. It doesn’t even have to be windows, you can also use your front door, the front of your house or your front garden.

Light up your window for the opening weekend of the Festival from Friday 20 to Sunday 22 September. You are very welcome to keep your artwork lit up for longer too!
